Online Surveys Overview              
EDG’s survey capabilities enable us to compile organizational information in a simple and timely manner. Our anonymous surveys allow clients to establish baseline data and, in repeated administrations, to quantify progress toward stated objectives.
 
Surveys can be used to assess organizational climate, to evaluate customer service, or to determine management or functional effectiveness.

EDG has used online surveys to evaluate:
  • The perceptions of an entire work force to identify areas for organizational improvement
  • Degree of customer satisfaction
  • Individual departments’ effectiveness with their cross-functional partners

EDG Approach
Our approach to surveys consists of three key elements: Survey development, survey administration, and survey interpretation and follow-up.
  • Survey Development
    • Conduct initial client meeting to determine the survey’s purpose
    • Distribute draft survey to representative stakeholders; incorporate input
    • Obtain final content approval
  • Survey Administration
    • Draft initial memo to survey taker
    • Distribute instructions
    • Serve as resource for survey takers
  • Survey Interpretation and Follow-Up
    • Compile results in overview, detail, and/or comparison reports
    • Help clients to understand survey results and to identify improvement targets and action plans
    • Design communications to survey constituencies
    • Initiate collaborative problem-solving efforts
